Walk About

On days when I feel creative I like to walk around in our home, garden, neighbourhood, etc.  and photograph anything that looks interesting. I also love to photograph flowers in our garden especially when there are new ones in bloom.... and this is why I love Flora and Close-Up!

27 March 2012 - Marais Family

I did my first family shoot for the year. I was excited and nervous at the same time. I photographed my cousin and her family at their home in Durbanville, Western Cape. There little bundle of joy, Olivia made my job so much easier with her friendly personality. Here are some of my favourite images of the shoot.

A Day of Romance

Today is Valentine's Day, which we exchanged candy, flowers and gifts between loved ones.

A quote by John Lennon just brought my love for photographing flowers and Valentine's Day together: "Love is the flower you've got to let grow."

We had so many flowers in our house that I felt creative and started to photograph the different flowers with a new twist in editing, giving them a more vintage feel. Hope you like the new style and please do comment.
